Florida

Once again we had another great trip to Florida. I think in the last 6 years this was the best weather we have had for the entire week. Every day was sunny and upper 70’s/lower 80’s. It was great!

The girls were loving their time on the beach and in the pool! We had our traditional big cupcakes, trip to Miromar Outlet Mall, walks to get ice cream, seeing the crazy fish Brad would catch and all of the other things we love to do down there.

So now prepare for photo overloadSmile!

Running on the beach! Whoooooo!!

Always fun to burry each other in the sand.

One day when we went to the beach all the seagulls were flocked together.

Then for whatever reason the birds started to fly.

Mine and Kaylee’s footprints. Getting harder and harder to tell whose is whose.

The girls also spent LOTS of time in the pool. We swam in it twice a day. Generally it was breakfast, beach, pool, lunch and poolSmile. By the end of the week Kaylee was swimming length wise from one end and back again with no assistance from us or floaties. Ainsley was swimming width wise of the pool with no assistance. They did great!

CANNONBALL!!!

More beach time. One of my favorite things to is sit on the beach and just snap pictures of my family doing their own thing.

Here they reminded me of a ducks all in a rowSmile.

Daddy and his girls!

Once they got swimming in the pool down they were ready to tackle swimming in the ocean. Which made this Mama a little more nervousSmile.

Hey Girl Hey!

One night before we went out to eat we went to the beach to take some sunset photos.

Of course we had to do a silly photo tooSmile.

More tradition…

jan12 156

After we completed the traditional pic of the girls holding hands in front of the ocean I said I had gotten the photo. The girls then did the below ones. So I’m not sure if they misunderstood me or were just having a nice sisterly moment, either way I loved the photos!

Me and my girls!

I said “Show me sassy!” This is what they gave me…

Kaylee wanted to take a photo of Brad and I. Turned out pretty goodSmile.

This year was really hard for me to see our trip end. It’s never fun to have to come back to reality, but this year more than others I was really pushing to just staySmile. Of course deep down I know that even if we lived there eventually stressors here would be stressors there. Life has stressors and once you live somewhere it’s no longer vacation. But a girl can dream, right?

What a perfect vacation! Oh my goodness, your the girls are adorable and your pictures are so beautiful. I love the sunset pictures of Kaylee and Ainsley with their arms around each other. Eeek! That's one to frame for sure!

I'm glad you had such a wonderful time. I think you pick the best week to sneak away from winter and get a taste of summer. Spring is almost here!! I'm with you though, I always always beg Patrick to just let us stay there or move there. We might have every day life there too, but it would be every day life with the beach and lots of sun :)
